Progress Video

This video will include
-Game Start, Going to our town maps.
-NPC's, Because our Towns are no longer empty
-Monsters, We have them spawning
-Leveling Up, Experience data has been mostly worked out
-Set Statpoints
-Portals, We can goto other maps


We are looking for three people to help us collect the monster and npc spawn info. (1 for each clan).
They will need to have korean characters and be able to goto all the maps required.

We are also in need of silver and a character over level 50, if anyone can help us out it would be awesome.


To be worked on next:
Monster AI
Learning Skills, Leveling them up and binding them
More Inventory Functionality
Party, Duel, Guild Functionality
Fixing the issue with portals not going to correct xyz in map.

    2. can i just say the monster spawns dont need to be 100% same as the original game...

      specifically maybe you want to make boss spawns in a different location, on the same map, to the original game

    3. maybe slight differences will be good for community, to work out new or slightly different locations...

      Then again koreaon one probably is slightly different I assume

    4. i agree :P be nice to have in the lower lvl maps more mobs closer together so u dont have to wast time running(walking at that point) around :P

    6. Well lets put it to a vote, I will make a poll when I get home.

      We can either have some people selected get the spawns from real server I have a tool I made to help.
      Or a group of people could login with gm commands and spawn monsters where they see fit. *I would have to finish making the spawn commands*

      As for item drops still lost on what to do with those as we can't seem to find all of them stored in monster info like we were hoping.

    8. I would say your need to get the spawns for the mobs but you can also add more in places you see fit. as for item drop rate that i think for your going to have to make it up (u can make good estimates for what the % is) and test in a Alpha test

  5. Combination of few veteran players and few people at looing at korean maps and making a blue print of spawn locations could be a good idea.

    For drops- http://vietkings.wetpaint.com/page/Rares+guide this is roughly correct.

    Best thing would be create a spreadsheet with names maps and monsters under that map listed. People can fill in or suggest what each monster dropped for them... with fan input you can fill out that info pretty quick.

    Again this doesnt need to be 100% accurate I think..

    1. This is not a bad ideia if we can get a group of veteran players to help with the blueprint of spawn locations, I played alot and i can remenber some mobs where they were and what maps then were to.

    2. Yeah :) I have started a sheet just gotta make it user friendly.

      How are gears dropped, there are lots of item id's with same name but slightly different stats and such. Im wondering if monsters drop a random% of that range. Or if all monsters drop the same basic gear depending on your players level?

      Whats some thoughts?

    3. I belive the gear its the same and the basic things that they give its the same,just the skill and such changes per item.
      I thing its the best choice

    4. how mob drop work for rare gear is luck :P there is a number of different stats for each rare gear all luck on what u get as far as i could ever tell the % for each one to drop is the same e.g if u had a 1% drop rate on a 105 rare blade and there are 4 different blades u can get then u got 0.25% on each blade to drop :P

    5. Gear drop is not dependent on the player level. it is dependent on the level of monster who drop it.

      Common, unique and rare (non-master) gear/weapon drops do vary in stats and + skill effect, i am guuessing within a range as you suggested.

    6. In my opinion since tailor and blacksmith will have uniques for sale I think no need to wory about this that much, but only thing to make sure is some of the uniques and common armour pieces + ring + necklace drops do have + luck on them.

      In the past all the fuss was always about rare drops.

  7. Not sure if I wrote was sent but I'll write it again.
    I'll firstly like to say I am very happy and impressed of the progress you guys are at, I hope you all the best!
    Now let's talk about drops, not only mob drops the main thing in twelve sky 1 we cannot forget the drops from PVP, that was the main thing that kept people PVPing. I was never out of yanggok even tho I was only m1. The main thing that people wanted was CT's even though they were hard to get people still PVPed for them. There was also the wacheon keys (sorry if I spelt it wrong) they were much harder to find then CT but were worth much more. A lot of people including me will be very pleased if you can add this. Ultimately what I'm trying to say is, with good PVP drops people don't have to always resort to farming for money, and the game could be much more enjoyable and most importantly more people will be at yanggok and wars.
    I hope you put this in consideration.

  9. I feel the spawn locations do not matter. It would be a good idea to change this factor as it allows veterans to become newbies once again. Since we all would experience the game for the first time, there would be no upperhand given, no boss time sheets taken out the basement, from under the bed, etc. The only thing important enough to focus on is the drop rate. I know we do not want a repeat of 12sky2. Characters maxed on elixirs and full 120% gear within an hour or 2 of playing. Everyone knows that the drop rate is determined upon 2 factors. The level of the character, and the value of the item.

    This is an example given that shows that each monster is spawned for a certain range of character levels. If your character is not within that range, items are not droped.
